A Mother's Day Nor'easter

A rainy and miserable sort of day here on the Cape, with high winds and occasionally heavy rains. All of last night's transplants have been watered in now, for sure, with as much as three inches of rain expected.

It would've been a lovely day to stay at home, maybe even on the couch in front of some old movies, but alas, work beckoned. Such a storm though we don't see too often in these warmer months, so I made sure I side-tripped over to Coast Guard Beach for a look at the surf. As you can see, it was worth the trip.
