Summer Slipping By

A late yellow lily appears. Posted by Picasa

The days of summer slip away, as we remember finally to lounge in the sun, and by the shore. The zucchini's been gnawed away by something, and the grass paths of the garden are overdue for mowing. Tomato plants flop as the lack of rain continues, but their tiny orange fruits are the sweetest I've ever tasted.
