Four Years Later

 

It's been four years and they say everything fades with time. But there are still moments...when the sky is that perfect cloudless blue...and before you even realize it you're remembering that September morning...how violent and sudden and frightening and awful it was. It has mellowed a little, but We can never forget.
 

This morning I'm remembering the stories of the people: The ones who died, and the ones who lived. I'm thinking about the people of Gander, Newfoundland, and the countless other people who did something kind for someone in the wake of that day's events. Aren't those the sort of people we want to be? I think I'll try to be that person today.
