I started the season pinching my mums back in the spring, in hopes of inspiring lower, bushier growth with more flowers this fall. After the first month, I sort of lost sight of the mums with everything else growing, and so the effort to shape them was forgotten. More flowers this fall than last, but still a bit too tall and floopy.
