Here's one of my grocery store primroses from a previous winter. The plant itself is quite tiny, only a couple of leaves...but here's three very strong little flowers that appeared this week.

The crocuses along the walk closest by the kitchen door have begun to bloom, as well.


The nice bright sunshine was a welcome addition to this end of the week, and sort of helps to make up for all the rainyness we had early on. Here's a look across Boat Creek Marsh at high tide, with the bay beyond.
