Sunset

The end of the day saw us making the short drive to Thumpertown Beach, for that sunset I was cheated out of yesterday by the fog.

In the southeastern sky, there was a veritable fountain of airliners taken off from major East Coast airports, heading out over the ocean. They go over all the time, but they're especially easy to see at sunset, with the sun glinting off their silver bodies and illuminating their contrails. This one actually looked like it was going to the moon.
