The pineapple lilies are looking lovely out by the drive way, wel coming visi tors to the garden.
But that welcome comes with a warning that you might see all sorts of outrageous behavior, like the mating ritual going on between these green and red dragonflies! Note how the large grapeleaf substitutes for the heart-shaped bed.
This moth (or butterfly) looked as though it had seen better days as it perched on some white oregano for a bit of lunch.
In the shade of yucca leaves, this orange calendula comes into bloom.
