Friday's Garden

As forecasts promised, last night was a very rainy one, with heavy precipitation throughout the evening. Glad to say it took away some of the unusual humidity we were enjoying yesterday.

This morning, as sunlight glimmered through the lingering clouds, I ventured out into the garden, and was rewarded with assorted treasures, like the morning glory above.

These little blue dayflowers continue to bloom like mad, not worrying about too little or too much rain, it seems. I've been very happy to make their acquaintance while we've been here and hope that I will bring a few along with us to our next garden.

These are stunning photographs ... an array of colour that mirrors sunrise. I love the name of your blog.
