Fat Tuesday Light Show

After the rain tapered off this afternoon, a thick blanket of fog descended over us with nightfall.

Since I enjoy playing around with different camera settings and love working with available light, it was kind of fun to play around with catching the lights of approaching vehicles on the ride home tonight.

It was this image, appearing to represent some electric parade, that reminded me that it was Mardi Gras!

You take the most amazing photographs! Just seeing the pictures of nature, the coastline sunsets and those nature shots makes me want to move to your area (even tho I HATE the cold!!).

Thanks to the warmer ocean, winter and its cold seem to come and go like the tide! Thanks for stopping by Pat--come visit the Midnight Garden again soon!

Yeah, even your dark and dreary day pics are great! I guess that's the allure of the Cape, right? Great pics, Greg. It's good to see you settling in nicely in the new place. :)

Very cool pics. Just the sort I often take too. :). Like snow-storms and weirdo night and light pictures. Like lights at night.
