Greg, there is something so wonderful about the photo of that sky, ripe and speckled with those wandering sheep-like clouds, defying the wires and the bands of the telephone lines which look as though they're trying to tame and corral them. But that sky doesn't give one thought to what happens down here and just does what it always does, occasionally stopping only long enough to smile or laugh at us below.

Beautiful shots. Looks like it was a very pretty day. We had rain and gray skies, but we need the rain very much, so that's ok. Just not a good day for photographs, you know?

Wishing you peace

Those first two shots are beautiful captures of a peaceful and serene setting which make you feel you're "away from it all." But then the third photo brings one back to civilization with all those overhead lines of the telephone and "information highway."

I've been home from New England or less than a week, and your pictures make me want to be back there. I especailly like the first one of the estuary.

There's something very Wind In The Willows about that boat. A right agreeable messing-about-in boat I'd say. Shall I bring some coldtonguecoldhamcoldbeefpickledgherkins-
saladfrenchrollscressandwiches-
pottedmeatgingerbeerlemonadesodawater?

I see your photos and think-- is it NEVER ugly in your area? How can it possibly be this beautiful ALL THE TIME? Even your rain and fog is gorgeous...

Man, I am living in the wrong area! :)

I know so many people that go to incredible lengths to find the spots where there aren't power lines to "spoil" their pictures. I'm glad you embrace the world as it is in its "imperfect" beauty and can find the beauty in the things others might drive right past...

I like the top 2 pictures, is that part of the ocean...the swampy part. As you can tell I don't even know what that would be called ?
