Rainy Morning

One of those pesky coastal storms has "backed in" over eastern Mass and it looks as though it will be our great good fortune to have rain off and on for most of the week. It was this time last year that this meadow began to flood. I keep watching to see if its begun. Yep, those are rose branches curling across right foreground.

Another long shot of the garden, to show off the growing patches of green, as well as this lovely apple tree that makes such a nice backdrop for the garden. Also, there's our old Christmas tree, still retaining a great green tone, despite the warming temperatures. I wonder how long it will last...
