Serviceberry

Honestly, I have no idea what kind of tree this is...perhaps a flowering crab? Anyway, the flowers are pretty to ignore, for the silly reason of my ignorance. If anyone recognizes it, enlighten me, please...

I've read that the berries are a real sweet treat if you can beat the birds to them.
