Wednesday Morning

The forget-me-nots recently washed-ashore to our garden are now happily in bloom. The ones in the shadier location by the house have bluer blossoms...while the ones out back in the sun have blossoms more on the pink side.

There's lots of growth to be seen on everything, including this flower head just emerging on one of the three heliotrope plants.

While I looked around the garden and finished up the "stick making" project using all my fruit tree pruning remnants, our Oriole was once again making the rounds, advertising (doesn't anyone know a nice single girl oriole...?) himself in song from the branches of the apple tree.

The blue globe allium flower heads are beginning to break out of their papery shell. I can't wait to see these in bloom.
