In a large corner of the back garden, a forest of giant bellflowers are beginning to "inflate." They're quite something to watch as the days go by. This plant has already taken hold of a large area...one to keep an eye on, but happily!

One of the pineapple lilies prepares to flower. It's really fascinating to watch this little faux pineapple form...I guess the botanists who stumbled across this one would have to have been clueless not to figure out what this plant was to be called.
