Three Winter Views

A banking visit to Eastham today (delayed by the storm)allowed me to capture this wintery view of First Encounter Marsh.

Found these red berries (i think they may be bitter sweet) in a snowbank outside of work this afternoon.

And then on the way home, I visited Skaket Beach for this sunless sunset.

Glad you didn't try to find OUT if the berries were bittersweet or not, Greg. :) A pretty contrast to the snow, though!!

Jeez, I'm sorry, did you see a National Geographic masthead up above?!? Heh heh...okay, fine, it's January and I'm lazy.

But I just checked, and YES, those red berries are bittersweet. That's what I thought I remembered there from previous years, it's just that winter weather has taken away most of the yellow outer shells that normally make bittersweet so flashy and obvious!

Thanks for reminding me to keep it real. Hmmm...off to find some minor issue in one of *your* posts now.

: )
