One gardener's observations, discoveries and random thoughts whilst simultaneously worshipping and dallying in a Cape Cod garden. "A garden," said Ralph Waldo Emerson, "is like those pernicious machineries which catch a man's coatskirt or his hand, and draw in his arm, his leg and his whole body to irresistable destruction."

Those photography ideas in their commercials have been done very well. although, I understand they are in trouble for a new one with a map of the US and Mexico with Mexico taking over much of the older territories before the war that established California, New Mexio, Texas and others as states. They have taken the add off the air but this one seems to have legs with talk of a boycott of their product.
Hey Butch--happy Friday! I hadn't heard about that flap about the ad (nor have I seen it...). Was it a modern ad, or more of historical document? Maybe their territory was similarly shaped way back when...of course, I'm woefully uninformed...I'll have to do some surfing and see what I can learn!
Have a great weekend!
I don't know much about it myself, but saw the result of how the people ( read Americans ) felt about it. Possibly the internet with a google to Absolut and map may give you more information.
A Happy Friday to you as well and glad you saw my most recent attempt at humour. ( I thought it was funny and I guess that counts on some level. ) ;-)
