How exciting. I miss the waves on Lake Michigan, which we always played in, although they never got quite as dramatic.

I hope all is well with you.

What lovely waves! Don't you admire the power of the ocean and the storms?

I love this twist on the text. Nicely done.

Don't you wonder where the gulls go when the weather's up? They seem to be able to survive almost anything. On the gulf coast of Florida, storms bring the surf up to THREE FEET. Yeah, I know: kinda anticlimactic. But that's what makes the gulf so peaceful.

Great post! Bad weather brings the surfers out on the South coast here in the UK too (not that we often have hurricanes I should add) :D

You always know when bad weather's approaching when you see the surfers come out to play. I hope all remained unaffected from the effects of the storm!
