Adirondack Arrival

It's always a bit of a relief...and a lovely welcome...when I look to the right driving up the Northway and see Lake George spreading north as I enter the Adirondack Park. Even though there's still an hour or so to go, at least I know the long ride is nearly through.

I also enjoy the way Route 30 weaves along the northern passages of the Hudson River, and it was a great day to capture a few shots, like this one just north of Warrensburg.
