Here's a shot of the Full Pink Moon rising into the clouds, around 9:15 this evening. It's called the Pink moon after wild ground phlox, or pinks...a plant I've always enjoyed, but don't have much of in this particular garden. Actually, some coastal tribes called it the Fish Moon, since shad and herring are nowabouts making their way upstream from the ocean.
