We won't actually have any lilac blossoms in the garden this year. We have plenty of lilac plants, for whom I have high hopes, for years to come. For now they are too small, and so when I saw these beauties coming into bloom in a great hedge alongside Bridge Road this afternoon, I couldn't resist stopping for a few pictures.
